Olympics 2012

The Olympic Games run for 16 days from
Friday 27 July to Sunday 12 August 2012,
with the Paralympic Games running for 12 days from
Wednesday 29 August to Sunday 9 September 2012
The nearest station to each venue is listed below
Holder of tickets for a Games event in London will receive a one-day Games Travelcard for the day of that event :
Olympic Park -
Stratford Regional or Stratford International
Holder of tickets for a Games event outside London will be able to use their Games Travelcard to travel between London and the recommended rail station for those venues, no additional fare will be payable :
Hadleigh Farm - Leigh-on-Sea (30 minute walk or shuttle bus)
Eton Dorney - Slough, Windsor & Eton, or Maidenhead
Lee Valley White Water Centre - Cheshunt (20 minute walk or shuttle bus)
Holders of tickets for a Games event at a co-Host City venue will not receive a Games Travelcard
Weymouth and Portland - Weymouth
Millennium Stadium, Cardiff (Wales) - Cardiff Central
City of Coventy Stadium - Coventry (over one hours walk or bus)
Old Trafford, Manchester - Manchester Piccadilly (bus or Metrolink tram)
St James’ Park, Newcastle - Newcastle Central (walk or bus)
Hampden Park, Glasgow (Scotland) - Mount Florida
Users will also benefit from being able to rebook train tickets if their Olympic or Paralympic event is rescheduled to another time or date
Those wishing to change their booking for any other reason can also do so, paying only the difference in fare between their original and replacement ticket
No rebooking fee will apply
East Coast :
Spectators can choose to return on a later East Coast service than booked if an event runs late, or they are delayed
Their ticket will be valid for up to three hours after the original service booked, or by the first available journey if none is scheduled sooner
